Garry Monk has been announced as the new manager of Leeds United.
The 37-year-old, who was sacked as Swansea City boss back in December, has signed on a one-year rolling contract at
Elland Road.
It follows Steve Evans’ sacking by the Yorkshire outfit on Tuesday evening.
Monk becomes the seventh manager appointed under Massimo Cellino since April 2014.
Bristol Rovers boss Darrell Clarke, as well as MK Dons’ Karl Robinson, were also considered for the vacant position but the club have opted for Monk.
