It’s been 20 years since the death of Biggie Smalls and his best friend P Diddy has paid tribute to the late rapper to mark his anniversary.
Remembering his dear friend, Diddy shared a clip on his social media calling all the fans of the late rapper to share videos of them rapping some of their
favourite Biggie lyrics and tag him using the hashtag #WeMissYouBIG.
The hip hop mogul promised that he would put together a special tribute to his dear friend and ‘the greatest rapper of all time’ using their submissions.

P.DIDDY QUOTE BELOW

"20 years ago today we lost the greatest rapper of all time, The Notorious B.I.G. We’re celebrating his life through his music and through his legacy today. I want everyone to get involved and rap your favorite Biggie verse, tag me and use the hashtag #WeMissYouBIG @badboyent"

Diddy real name Sean Combs released emotional tribute single called I’ll Be Missing You after his death with his wife at the time of his death, singer Faith Evans.
Notorious B.I.G. born Christopher Wallace, and also known as Biggie and Biggie Smalls, died on March 9 1997 at the age of 24 after he was fatally shot in his SUV. His killer was never caught.

Both Biggie and the late American rapper Tupac are hailed as the most biggest and most influential rappers ever, and the mystery around their unsolved murders is set to be explored in an upcoming crime drama.

The rappers were locked in a bitter battle known as the East Coast–West Coast hip hop rivalry, a feud that ran between 1991 till the death of Biggie in 1997.
Tupac died just six months prior to Biggie’s death in September 1996 at the age of 25, also in a drive by shooting in Las Vegas.
In a life tragically cut short, Biggie gave the world a number of great tunes including Notorious B.I.G., Juicy, Big Poppa, Notorious Thugs and Hynotize.
The rapper also won a number of awards including two Billboard Music Awards for Rap Artist Of The Year and Rap Single Of The Year, an MTV Video Music Award for Best Rap Video, a Soul Train Music Award for Best Male RnB/Soul Album and won four The Source Awards.
He was also nominated for four Grammys including three posthumously.
